About
It started with a chickadee... back in 1988 as part of my teacher training course at Ottawa U (MacSkimming Outdoor Ed.) Continued during a 25 year residence out west living in AB, SK and BC. Worked as a park naturalist for BC Parks, a nature educator at Helen Schuler Coulee Centre (Lethbridge, AB) and for ECO-studies (Penticton, BC). Have worked as a "paid birder" or field tech, plus many years experience doing volunteer bird surveys. Habitat conservation/protection makes me happy. *Please do not use my photos without permission.
